HERITAGE SERIES - ATC (WOYWW)

I've been doing a series of vintage artist trading cards so this one is for the category of families. If you notice to the right is a tent. The were camping on their way to California in the 30's. Someone told it reminded them of a "Grapes of Wrath" scene.

I am totally getting that grapes of wrath vibe. The lacy in the bottom is a nice touch. Lovely work.

I actually have family pictures similar to that. During the dust bowl Oklahomans migrated to California to work cause there was nothing here for them to do. I am going to have to go through the picture box and see what I have! I am offering up some blog candy so come leave a comment on my blog and get a chance to win! Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Vickie #90

Gorgeous ATC and a fab photo - it reminds me of one I have of my mum when she was young with her family.

Hi, just popping in to say hello before the week has gone entirely... Love your ATC and yes, it is reminiscent of The Grapes of Wrath but it also reminds me of the photographer, Dorothy Lange's photos of the great depression. Hope your weekend has been a good one. Elizabeth x #78
