ART TAGS
Years ago there was an electrician working in our home. When he came to understand what I did he asked the question....."why isn't there any of your art on your walls?" Well, I thought about that for a long time. Some day there will be, but the reason there isn't is because I keep giving it away. That hasn't change over many years, but I still say that one day there will be. Just this last week we had another electrician in doing some work. I happened to show him the two tags below, saying, this is some of what I do. He knew that I work with children and adults doing arts and crafts. Well, as it turned out, he went home with the bottom one. He wanted to buy it, I couldn't sell it.

These are beautiful, Coleen! I love the details in all of your work. Thanks for helping with some ideas on uploading photos. I would have reset my camera, but I would forget if I wanted to take some to have printed. :) I need to figure how to make them smaller before uploading - still working on this. Right now, I've misplaced the cord to upload from my camera...such is the life of a disorganized grandmother! :)
Blessings,
Ava
The tags are elegant, Coleen. Such fine workmanship. Like you, I don't sell my stuff. The cards and tags I give away. The paintings are like my children. They are just hanging around. Many of them have names of people who will inherit them when I'm gone (if my dh doesn't want to keep the houseful of them. Any I have sold were to benefit our church.
lovely...the gratitude one reminds me of One Thousand Gifts by Ann Vos Kamp. Thank you for sharing
Your tags are lovely, Coleen! I imagine someone at home was quite pleased to receive it.
Thank you sweet ladies for your kind encouragement. The tag with the butterfly went to our (Christian) electrician. He was so enamored how could I not give it to him? Plus he wanted it to give to his girlfriend. How can one resist such romance? I am simply honored that he felt that way. May He be lifted up.
Very beautiful tags! I love how much you chunk them up.
Coleen,
I just love these tags. It makes me thing that Spring is here! Very lovely!
Love these tags. They are so pretty and do make me think of spring time.
