On my desk today is a quick sketch in acrylic paint and oil pastels. Just a nice reminder of summer, when right now we have knee deep snow outside and 14F or -10C. Looking forward to spring when I can be outside in the garden again.

Hello Coleen,those are lovely bright flowers, and, yes, we do indeed have to be reminded of summer ... we've just had our first snowfall today here in the south-west coast of Scotland but it's not cold enough to lie. I find encaustic art fascinating so appreciated the demo in your next post ... he makes it look so easy :) Hope you have a fun weekend. Elizabeth x #45
