2010 Life Path Challenge

In our lives there often are certain things that have impacted us in a way that was lasting.... that somehow changed us. This week we are focusing on one of those things.
Question:
WHAT BOOK OR BOOKS HAVE HAD AN IMPACT IN YOUR LIFE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH OTHERS?

We all have them so dig back and think about it because some day this journal, writing or art you are doing is going to be shared with someone. Wouldn't it be nice for them to understand some of those things that made a difference in our lives.

I love using postage stamps in art. I've been collecting since I was a kid, started by my dad.

Books..."A Promise to Keep" I read and re-read this as a child...I had no idea it was the Bible in story form. It sustained me through many years of child abuse. My husband surprised me with a copy of it one year for Christmas, it is a treasured gift. Others..."Applause of Heaven" by Max Lucado. "Ruth Bell Grahams Collected Poems." "Silas Marner", "The Shack", "The Kite Runner", "To Kill a Mockingbird".

Ah yes, a book lover. I've read many of those same books. And my children grew up with many stories that were the Bible in story form and their dad read from the Bible one chapter every night until they finished the entire Bible. That took years, of course.
