ATC LEAVES UKRAINE
Sharing a little vintage ATC (artist trading card) I did not long ago and sent off in the mail as a swap with someone else. I love being able to send miniature pieces of art all around the world. And to receive them also. I have a growing collection of vintage style ATCs. The added benefit is that when I mail them I can also send a bit of encouragement to the recipient. I have been graced with such blessings in my life that I just want to share that around. Life is short and the world is tough so we really could all use a bit of encouragement. You never know the burdens another is carrying so approach everyone with a kindness of heart and a soft word. Treat everyone like he's carrying a great tragedy. Chances are he is, despite the happy face.

I'm your partner for Love Comment Blog 3. I loooove ATCs now. I just started making them and I'm completely addicted! Yours is so cute! I love that collage style.
Your package is on its way (again) Hope it doesn't take an age this time
I love making ATCs. They're just the right size for me because of not having as much time for art as I'd like.
This one is adorable, rather "charming" and she is. Love it! :-)
Blessings!
That's so cute! I've just ventured into this form of crafting since starting SwapBot in September. I love it!
Have a great week!
Sarah

Your ATC is as beautiful as your post. I feel that over this past year, I've gained an understanding of the power of a little bit of physical beauty in the form of art, and the power of encouragement through a spoken kind word, carries a weighty strength. A strength that can turn thoughts and perspectives toward God.
Do you have an available link to find out more about the ATC you participate in?
Cheers,
Leah

That's a lovely ACT. I haven't made one before but I do think it's great that you're using it to spread kindness. (fibrous - fb)
A very cute ACT. I didn't even realize I liked the vintage photo's till I got photos of my great grandparents! Now when I make a journal for a swap I try to use one or two in the journal..

<3 Blog Comment Lovers <3 (lilCowgirl) --- Hey, I came here via swap bot. I really like this post. In am new into ATCs and in love with these lil cards already. Making them eases my mind - it's a great way to relax. Another wonderful thing about them is that they will make someone else happy later. It's just a great experience to share those lil pieces of art and it's a pleasure when someone really likes it and it makes someone's day.
I agree with what u wrote, too - we should always have a friendly word for everyone. Sometimes people just have a bad day without even knowing why, other times people are having tough times - but even if someone is just fine, a nice word is never wrong. It can bring a smile to a face - and strengthen the belief that sometimes things seem worse than they really are. Let's light thos lil candles by sending nice words around the globe.
I hope you are having a great fall season - have a good one! All the best from TX, USA. Annie
I love ATCs as well. I started trading them about two years agao and have nearly one thousand in my collection now! It is amazing to me to think that my art is now all over the world and nothing is more fun than getting a little piece of cheer in the mailbox at the end of the day.
I looked at your older blog as well and I hope the Kid's Club is growing and you continue to make the strides in your community you are hoping for. 18 years away from your home country is a long time. It shows your dedication to your work there is sincere, which is admirable.
Hope you are having a wonderful day and that you get some fun mail :)
