FROM MY UKRAINE GARDEN

Spring finally arrived in Ukraine so I thought I'd share these lovelies with you my sweet friends who visit. I so love this time of year because everything changes so rapidly. It's a time when every morning I get up and take a little stroll through the garden to see what has presented itself like royalty overnight. These beautiful crocuses are already done and over. Their joy is short lived, but what a gift they are when they come. Now we are watching as the tulips ready themselves for a grand show. Each fall I buy a few more bulbs to plant so I have a lot of variety that has varying stage calls. I'll do some pictures for you of those soon too. Blessings to you all. Coleen

VINTAGE ARTIST TRADING CARD

I think most of you know I like to do crafts with a vintage theme. This ATC was with a real photograph someone sent to me. They always fascinate me because I wonder about them. They are/were real people with real lives. They lived, married, had families and died. Sometimes I wonder, did they know God? Are they in heaven now? It's always more interesting to work with a real photo because it brings this dimension of life to the project. This one was sent to someone in America, but got lost along the way. I received a letter once that went all the way to Jakarta before it reached us here in Ukraine. I know that because it had Jakarta stamped on the envelope. I was amazed that it found us. Recently an "undeliverable" letter was returned to us from the U.S. Now that is a lot of miles for something to travel. Hope you like my little piece. CARD CLASS IN UKRAINE

This coming Tuesday I will be doing a card class with Ukrainian ladies in a prayer group. I work with about 15 of them and we will do cards, but I will be teaching them techniques like on this card. In all of these classes I have the opportunity to share testimony with them, so I'd appreciate your prayers in this.
