RUBBER STAMPING MASTERBOARD

Had great fun trying something new recently.  I got to create these cool background papers using rubber stamps.  I think they turned out pretty well for a first time.  I was prompted to do this by a swap on www.swap-bot.com.    Sometimes I do things there simply for the purpose of learning/trying a new technique.  I like how some popped out and some receded.  After stamping I sprayed with various sprays to add color.  Some were done on white card stock and others on lightly colored card stock. Also, the heart above was my very first hand-carved stamp.  There will be more of those for sure.  Give it a try. It's lots of fun.

ART JOURNAL TUTORIAL

I look at a lot of tutorials.  I do that so I'm a better teacher in my classes and of course, to grow in my own art.  So when I find one that I like I post it here on my blog or on my Facebook art page which you can find here https://www.facebook.com/vintageterrace2.coleenfranks.  I think you'll enjoy this one too.  Let me know what you think.  She has a nice and simple approach.
