| I posted this on my Facebook page because I liked it so much. I have a whole garden path with stones like this. Well the big ones anyway. It is such a cute idea I want to do it in my garden next spring. These are what I call river rocks. You can't find them just anywhere, but they are plentiful in the rivers of western Ukraine. I just like rocks. Ever since I was a kid I collected rocks and shells. I collect sea glass while at the Black Sea as well. Haven't found what I will do with it, but I like it. I even paint on rocks....flowers, words, squiggles and then I leave them for strangers to find. I'll post some of those later too. Have a good week. |

ReplyDeleteI love stones. I collect rocks of all description. They just have to tweak my interest an itty bit to be picked up and brought home. Love the idea that you leave painted rocks for others.

ReplyDeleteRocks are always winking at me when I am out in nature ... one year we brought home quite a few pretty ones from the Moorman River in the Virginia countryside (my husband is a very good sport about that sort of thing, he even brings me heart shaped rocks now and then)...

DeleteHi Coleen, I collect sea-weathered china and porcelain - there's a surprisingly large amount of it on the beaches in Cumbria! I also want to have a go at what lil fish studios does with the rocks she collects - great idea don't you think!

This is just too cool! It always amazing me to see the neat ideas people come up with. It really does make a difference what kind of goggles you put on. We all see the world in different ways.
